Thomas Mittag hat Medizinische Biotechnologie und Molekulare Medizin in Rostock und Jena studiert. Im Rahmen seines "Design-Thinking"-Zusatzstudiums an der HPI School of Design Thinking in Potsdam lernte er nutzerzentriertes Arbeiten und Innovationsmethodik. Als Teil eines sechsköpfigen Teams entwickelte er dort im Sommer 2015 in enger Zusammenarbeit mit dem RBB-Radiosender "radioeins" das Konzept CATCH. Nach einer erfolgreichen Bewerbung auf das Startup-Stipendium am Medieninnovationszentrum Babelsberg und einer halbjährigen Entwicklungsphase steht er mit seinem Team jetzt kurz vor der Gründung. _____ Thomas Mittag studied medical biotechnology and molecular medicine in Rostock and Jena. He studied user-centred working and innovation methods in a subsequent design-thinking programme at the HPI School of Design Thinking in Potsdam.  As a part of a six-person team there, working closely with radio station radioeins, he developed the CATCH concept. Following successful application to the Media Innovation Centre Babelsberg’s start-up grant programme, as well as a half-year development phase, he and his team are now close to completing the company’s foundation.
